The Greater Haywards Heath Bike Ride keeps on track for 2016

We’re hoping that the sixth year of our Greater Bike Ride will bring back the sunshine we’ve always had, together with riders old and new to enjoy a truly wonderful day!

With the help and support of our sponsors, our helpers and our friends, we’ve raised a huge amount of money for our local people and charities and we truly thank you all. We’re planning amended routes, more sustenance for the long ride and, of course, more comfort breaks so PLEASE come along and join us next April for a very special day!

We’re delighted and truly grateful to welcome back our sponsors who continue to support us so a big THANK YOU to:

The Greater Haywards Heath Bike Ride has four great routes all wending their way through the beautiful Mid Sussex countryside.

green_route_7999637The Sergison GREEN Route

The family fun route of just 12.4 miles.

View the route here.

blue_route_6662408The Cavalier BLUE Route

20.5 miles and the most popular route in 2011. Achievable for the occasional rider but with enough interesting challenges thrown in.

View the route here.

red_route_8005796The Highwayman RED Route

48.5 miles – this is where the serious cycling starts but probably a walk in the park for the real riders.

View the route here.

black_route_3990742Wiggins Way BLACK Route

73.5 miles of real cycling for the serious rider. Named after our inspirational Tour winner and Olympic Champion, here’s a test for time triallers!

The Greater Haywards Heath Bike Ride is run entirely by volunteers, but we look for sponsors to help cover the costs of running the event so that all of the entry fees can be given to charity.

There are levels of sponsorship or you can just donate. All will link your name with a lasting legacy to our area. And, don’t forget, you can always get involved by volunteering to be one of our Marshals or Registrars on the day. Contact Ruth on 01444 453399 or email if you’d like to be one of us!
