Sign up for this years Greater Haywards Heath Bike Ride – 10th April 2016

The 2016 Bike Ride will, again, have four routes – from the family friendly 12 mile to the ‘Wiggins Way’ at 74 miles for cyclists wanting a challenge!  All riders will be ‘chipped’ once more so everyone will know just how well they did and the routes have been amended to ensure there are proper facilities (including ‘comfort breaks’) en route and Feed Stations for the longer ride.  There’ll also be a warm welcome home to tired riders in The Broadway with live music.

But, as Chairman, Mike Oliver, says: “Our Bike Ride is a day for families too; this year, with the help of our sponsors, we’re raising money for the Maternity Unit at the PRH so we’re looking forward to welcoming lots of riders to what we hope will be a fantastic day of fun in the April sunshine!”

The Ride is sponsored once again by 1st CENTRAL, The Orchards Shopping Centre, Nuffield Hospital, Masters & Son and the Collinson Group. Nicola Bird, Orchards Manager, is as excited as everyone: “There’s always the most amazing sense of fun and ‘togetherness’ at our Bike Ride and I’m just so pleased we’ll be helping all Mums-to-be this year, they’re the future and success of our Town.”

UK CEO of 1st Central, Andy James, adds: “Don’t forget that we’re hoping many more charities and organisations will benefit from this year’s Bike Ride: Although we give the entrance fees to local people, we’re hoping lots of cyclists will ride for their own chosen charity; that’s why we have a special discount for charity teams and there’s a sponsorship form on our website to help them.”

Once again, there’ll be Pre-Registration in The Orchards on the Saturday, from 10.00 am to 1.30 pm, so you can have another half hour in bed on the Sunday!

And if you register now at www.hhbikeride.co.uk, you’ll get a special Early Bird Discount. So please come along and join us for a very special day; make the 2016 Bike Ride the very best and biggest ever and, don’t forget that, even if you’re not a cyclist but would like to be part of the fun, do get in touch and help us to marshal or register.
