The Big Bang @ Mid Sussex

The Big Bang @ Mid Sussex is the culmination of Mid Sussex Science Week, and aims to inspire children towards science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM). The annual science week will consist of a project-based activity, supported by a local business. At the end of the week, schools and companies will come to the Big Bang @ Mid Sussex to present their projects, with winners receiving a prize. The Fair will include the projects, stands from the companies and careers advice.

The Science week is being organised by Mid Sussex Science Week  with support from STEM Sussex. The Big Bang @ Mid Sussex has had expressions of support from inter alia, Sir Nicholas Soames MP, Mid Sussex District Councillors and West Sussex County Councillors, Central Sussex College, Warden Park Academy Trust and Haywards Heath Town Team.

Local STEM companies who are supporting the event, include: BSE3d, Flowserve, Solum Regeneration, BAM Construction, Sunninghill Construction, Mitsubishi Electric, Bourne Construction and Schlumberger.

The Objective is to inspire children towards science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM).
